About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Operations Specialist to join our team at ORBCOMM. As a key member of our revenue operations team, you will play a critical role in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales processes.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales Opportunity Audits
  • Validate new customer setups in Salesforce, ensuring proper approval documentation, customer contracts, and access portals.
  • Review pipeline for non-compliant opportunities and lead webinar training sessions as needed.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Operations to review hardware forecasts from the pipeline and provide sales pipeline analysis as required.
Commission Support
  • Administer Sales Incentive Plans with the sales team, in conjunction with Sales and Revenue Operations leadership.
  • Create and collect signed commission plans, run commission calculations with finance, and generate quarterly commission statements.
  • Maintain all final commission materials, ensuring strict confidentiality due to sensitive sales data.
Subscription Contracts
  • Create subscription contracts using data provided by the sales team, verifying accuracy in Salesforce and any price approvals outside the norm.
  • Submit final subscription agreements to requestors and coordinate with legal for non-standard requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree + 3 years relevant experience or 5 years relevant experience preferred.
  • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM systems.
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills, with ability to excel in deadline-driven environments.
  • Ability to identify problems and solve them independently with internal stakeholders.
  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
