Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Foreman to join our team at Brandt Tractor Ltd. As a Service Foreman, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and mentor service leadhands, service technicians, and service writers to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
    • Provide guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Ensure that all work performed meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
    • Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Customer Service and Communication
    • Provide exceptional customer service and communication to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Operational Efficiency and Cost Management
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
  • Training and Development
    • Identify training needs and develop plans to address them.
    • Provide training and coaching to service technicians and service writers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Previous mechanical experience in a transportation environment is an asset.
    • Certified Journeyman in the truck and transport trade or equivalent designated trade is an asset.
    • Experience in a service department setting is required.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
    • Basic Microsoft Office skills required.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
