You will also be responsible for executing successful cementing jobs according to design and client specifications, understanding rigging in/out procedures, and ensuring efficient handling of day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and mentor personnel, equipment, and materials to ensure timely arrival at job sites.
- Execute successful cementing jobs according to design and client specifications.
- Understand rigging in/out procedures and ensure safe and efficient execution of cementing jobs.
- Ensure efficient handling of day-to-day operations, including managing inventory, scheduling, and personnel.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal departments, including Sales and Dispatch.
- Work with station management to maintain operation and service standards and assist in leadership of the Station.
- Adhere to and enforce company Safety policies and ensure compliance with HSE legislation.
- Prepare end of well, end of month, incident, abnormalities, maintenance, logbook, and end of jobs tickets and reports, or other reporting, as required.
- Implement and maintain procedures to ensure high level of service.
- Develop and maintain strong external/internal client relationships in support of company values and objectives.
- Work with management to improve policy and procedures.
- Verify load tickets.
- Supervise a crew on basic primary cement jobs.
- Demonstrate the ability to operate any two of the core pieces of equipment.
- Complete Supervisor 1 sections of MAP (Magnum's internal competency evaluation program).
- Participate in training and development activities.
- Other general duties as required.
- Valid class 1 (Canada) / class A CDL (U.S.) driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physically capable of moving/lifting heavy objects up to 23 kg., bending, standing, gripping, sitting/driving, walking, and climbing repeatedly for extended periods.
- Able to work outdoors for extended periods of time and in all types of weather conditions.
- Able to be on call 24 hours on a 15 days on a 6 days off rotational schedule, remaining fit for duty at all times (subject to change due to market conditions).
- Able to work in congested or confined areas, and with exposure to loud noises and vibration.
- Demonstrated ability to direct and motivate the work of others.
- Legally eligible to work in the country the role is based out of.
- Possesses oilfield tickets.
- Demonstrated continuous improvement.
- Experience operating cement and bulk equipment.
- Ability to rebuild equipment.
- Experience in the completion of reports.
- Experience in dealing with customers and dispatch.
