Magnum Cementing Services is seeking a highly skilled Cement Supervisor to join our team. As a Cement Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring personnel, equipment, and materials to ensure successful cementing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Management: Manage and coordinate cementing operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Personnel Management: Mentor and supervise personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to perform their duties.
- Equipment and Materials Management: Ensure that all equipment and materials are properly maintained and managed, and that they are available when needed.
- Cementing Operations: Execute cementing jobs according to design and client specifications, ensuring that all procedures are followed and that the job is completed safely and efficiently.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, internal departments, and other stakeholders to ensure that all needs are met and that expectations are managed.
- Leadership: Work with station management to maintain operation and service standards, and assist in leadership of the station.
- Safety: Adhere to and enforce company Safety policies, ensuring compliance with HSE legislation.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports, including end of well, end of month, incident, abnormalities, maintenance, logbook, and end of jobs tickets.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement and maintain procedures to ensure high levels of service, and develop and maintain strong external and internal client relationships.
- Qualifications: Valid class 1 (Canada) / class A CDL (U.S.) driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physical Demands: Physically capable of moving/lifting heavy objects up to 23 kg., bending, standing, gripping, sitting/driving, walking, and climbing repeatedly for extended periods.
- Work Environment: Able to work outdoors for extended periods of time and in all types of weather conditions.
- Availability: Able to be on call 24 hours on a 15 days on a 6 days off rotational schedule, remaining fit for duty at all times.
- Skills: Demonstrated ability to direct and motivate the work of others, good computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office and other software, and ability to perform calculations required to execute a cement job.
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership, strong work ethic, positive attitude, reliable, and dependable.
- Adaptability: Flexible and able to adapt to change, team player, and customer service focused.
