As a Culinary Services Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our food service department. Your leadership will ensure that our team delivers exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
The work environment can be described as noisy, typical of a bustling cafeteria, restaurant, or hotel setting.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement methods to effectively meet work schedules.
- Order food and kitchen supplies as needed.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
- Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Recruit and hire food service personnel.
- Prepare budgets and cost estimates for food service operations.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
- Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
You will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 individuals.
CertificationsA valid Serving It Right Certificate is required for this position.
TransportationPublic transportation options are readily available for commuting.
Physical Requirements- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail is essential.
The ideal candidate will be a team player, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Employment TypeThis is a permanent position requiring approximately 33 hours of work per week.
