Position Overview

As a Culinary Services Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our food service department. Your leadership will ensure that our team delivers exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
Work Environment

The work environment can be described as noisy, typical of a bustling cafeteria, restaurant, or hotel setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement methods to effectively meet work schedules.
  • Order food and kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Recruit and hire food service personnel.
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates for food service operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
Supervisory Responsibilities

You will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 individuals.

Certifications

A valid Serving It Right Certificate is required for this position.
