What is the opportunity?
The Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Support Specialist to join our Wealth Management team. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional client service and support to our advisors and clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative support to our advisors and clients, including account maintenance and efficient resolution of client requests.
- Maintaining existing client accounts and identifying opportunities to contact clients.
- Becoming well-versed in internal controls and industry regulatory requirements to ensure client files and documentation are accurate and compliant.
- Responding to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Assisting the advisor team in welcoming and onboarding new clients.
- Coordinating and preparing meetings for advisors with their clients and prospects.
- Providing proactive client service and resolving issues efficiently.
- Managing incoming communications from clients, advisors, and other internal and external partners.

Must-have
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.
- High level of time management and organization skills.
- Demonstrated skills in providing world-class client service.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Nice-to-have
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course and Conduct & Practices Handbook.
- Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities' systems and procedures.
- Experience in the securities industry is an asset.
