Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2565946 Ontario Limited. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Food Service Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain accurate records of staff performance, attendance, and training.
    • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and efficient service.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
