Position Overview

As a Food Service Supervisor at Tricolour Foods Corp., you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations within our culinary environment. Your leadership will ensure that our food service meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years
  • Equivalent experience may also be considered
Preferred Languages
  • Proficiency in Hindi is an asset

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement methods to meet work schedules
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning
  • Train team members on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols
  • Recruit food service personnel
  • Ensure food quality and service standards are consistently met
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates for operations
  • Address customer complaints and concerns effectively
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste
  • Compile and submit operational reports
  • Prepare food order summaries for the culinary team
  • Possess knowledge of the establishment's culinary specialties
  • Oversee the assembly of food trays
  • Manage the delivery of food trolleys
  • Establish work schedules for staff
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Oversee a team of 3-4 individuals
  • Manage staff across various operational areas
Certifications
  • Safe Food Handling certificate is required
Work Conditions
  • Fast-paced environment requiring the ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Standing for extended periods is necessary
