Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician

Join TalentBurst, Inc. as a Quality Assurance Technician and play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our automotive body and sub-assembly production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify and confirm body weld jigs, tools, pallets, parts, and assemblies to meet quality targets and KPIs for new model launches.
  • Prepare, troubleshoot, and confirm new tooling and equipment, parts, and sub-assemblies at various tool and equipment vendors.
  • Create detailed Seibi daily plans, project task reports, and problem follow sheets, track activity status, and coordinate safety communications.
  • Provide effective written and verbal communication with the Quality Seibi team, management, and outside groups regarding dimensional information and issues that require resolution.
  • Gather and manage part information from digital engineering systems and drawings, analyze part and sub-assembly dimensional data, and feed back to project leaders and Seibi management.
  • Perform equipment, tool, and part confirmation using portable CMMs and check fixture, weld tooling and equipment measurements, and part fitting activities.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or higher college degree.
  • 1+ year of automotive body dimensional quality experience.
  • Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook, with extensive use of Excel.
  • Proficient with DE tools related to body welding, including 3D digital programs such as PolyWorks and SolidWorks.
  • Strong ability to review and interpret part, machine, and jig drawings and 3D data.
  • Proficient with body quality measurement tools and techniques.
  • Strong 'hands-on' mechanical ability using various hand tools for tooling adjustments.
