Sienna Senior Living is a leading provider of senior living communities, dedicated to enhancing the lives of our residents through exceptional care and services.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Team Member Coordinator to join our team in this critical role. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of human resources experience, preferably in a unionized environment, and strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

The estimated salary for this position is around $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Job Overview

This is a full-time position that requires working closely with nursing and programs department leaders to effectively track and monitor educational activities, assist managers with retention efforts, and support the DOC and leadership team in WSIB/WSBC claims management and Early & Safe Return to Work Programs.

You will also be responsible for coordinating the orientation process for newly hired team members, maintaining regular contact and meetings with team members on modified work, and documenting results of meetings in the Claims Management Communication Log.

Responsibilities
  • Supports nursing and programs department leaders in tracking and monitoring educational activities.
  • Assists managers with retention efforts to support high-quality resident care delivery.
  • Coordinates the orientation process for newly hired team members in nursing and programs departments.
  • Maintains regular contact and meetings with team members on modified work.
  • Documents results of meetings in the Claims Management Communication Log.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of human resources experience, preferably in a unionized environment.
  • Experience with computerized payroll and software.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in detail and think strategically.
  • All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check (for Ontario applicants) or Criminal Records Check (for British Columbia applicants).
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience working in long-term care settings is preferred. A post-secondary education in Human Resources or CHRP designation is an asset.
