About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill this key position. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing community-based programs and services that promote social change and support marginalized populations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community development, social work, or a related field, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working with diverse communities, particularly those experiencing poverty, homelessness, or other forms of marginalization, is essential.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits. If you are passionate about making a positive impact in your community, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement community-based programs and services that address social determinants of health and promote social justice;
  • Work closely with community members, organizations, and stakeholders to build partnerships and collaborations;
  • Conduct needs assessments and develop strategies to address identified gaps and challenges;
  • Manage and coordinate program budgets, resources, and personnel;
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement;
  • Represent the organization at community events, meetings, and conferences;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local government agencies, service providers, and other stakeholders;
  • Prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines;
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and data as required;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Community Development, Public Health, or a related field;
  • At least 1 year of experience in community development, social work, or a related field;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Familiarity with community development principles, practices, and theories;
  • Experience working with diverse communities, particularly those experiencing poverty, homelessness, or other forms of marginalization;
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills;
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines;
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Valid driver's license (if applicable).

    Working Conditions:

    This is a full-time position, with a regular 35-hour workweek. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
