Hotel Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Manager to join our team at Alberta Corp. As a Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of our hotel, including supervising staff, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Manage Staff: Supervise and manage a team of 5-20 staff members, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance personnel.
  • Develop and Implement Policies: Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations, including guest services, room maintenance, and staff supervision.
  • Prepare Budgets and Monitor Finances: Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure the hotel is operating within budget.
  • Enforce Policies and Procedures: Enforce policies and procedures to ensure the hotel is operating in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Address Guest Complaints: Address guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with Special Requests: Assist guests with special requests, such as room changes or special amenities.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-7 months of experience in a hotel management role.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Office, Google Drive, and other hotel management software.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and stand for extended periods.
