Hotel Managing Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Managing Supervisor to join our team at Hampton Inn Calgary Airport North. As a key member of our hotel staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our hotel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our hotel runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless hotel operations
  • Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient hotel operations
  • Perform same duties as workers supervised to stay up-to-date with hotel operations
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on hotel operations and guest feedback
  • Assist guests with special needs and provide exceptional customer service
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
  • Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery and arrange repair work to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery
  • Requisition materials and supplies to ensure that the hotel has the necessary resources to operate efficiently
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in hotel operations or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • High school graduation certificate and post-secondary education in a related field
  • Computer skills, including MS Outlook
