Hotel Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Manager to join our team at Alberta Corp. As a Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of our hotel operations, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our hotel runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Policies and Procedures: Create and implement policies and procedures for daily hotel operations, ensuring that they are aligned with our company's goals and objectives.
  • Supervise Staff: Supervise and manage a team of hotel staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are performing their duties to the highest standard.
  • Prepare Budgets and Monitor Revenues and Expenses: Prepare and manage budgets for hotel operations, monitoring revenues and expenses to ensure that we are operating within our means.
  • Enforce Policies and Procedures: Enforce hotel policies and procedures, ensuring that they are followed by all staff members.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service.
  • Assist Clients/Guests with Special Needs: Assist clients/guests with special needs, providing support and guidance to ensure that their stay with us is comfortable and enjoyable.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for hotel staff, ensuring that they are fair and reasonable.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a hotel management role.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office, and Google Drive.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus and team player.
