We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Coordinator to join our team at First Student. Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management
- Receive and stock parts in a timely and accurate manner.
- Conduct regular price and quality surveys to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional counter service to internal customers.
- Facilities Maintenance
- Clean and organize shelves, bins, racks, and other storage areas.
- Reporting and Record-Keeping
- Enter necessary data into the computerized record-keeping system.
- Ensure the accuracy and credibility of all recorded information.
- Specialized Tasks
- Order special (non-stock) parts for repair orders.
- Manage cores and parts returns.
- Monitor re-order levels and replenish stock as needed.
- Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date files and records.
- Operate the R.O./Parts record-keeping system in accordance with corporate and customer requirements.
- Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in a parts room or inventory management role.
- Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and management.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in record-keeping systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
