Department Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Supervisor to join our team at T&T Supermarket Inc. in the Meat Department. As a Department Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Meat Department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Assign and coordinate the tasks of sales workers to ensure that all areas of the Meat Department are adequately covered.
- Hire and Train Staff: Hire and train or arrange for the training of staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Establish Work Schedules: Establish and manage work schedules to ensure that the Meat Department is adequately staffed at all times.
- Sell Merchandise: Sell meat and other products to customers, ensuring that all sales are handled in a professional and courteous manner.
- Prepare Reports: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to ensure that the Meat Department is operating efficiently.
- Resolve Issues: Resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints, supply shortages, and other problems that may impact the operation of the Meat Department.
- Organize Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that the Meat Department has adequate stock to meet customer demand.
- Supervise Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all products meet the required standards.
You will be working with a team of 5-10 people, including staff in various areas of responsibility. As a Department Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and managing this team to ensure that the Meat Department operates efficiently and effectively.
