We are seeking a highly skilled Department Supervisor to join our team at T&T Supermarket Inc. in a permanent position. Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
  • Hire, train, and develop staff to meet business objectives
  • Establish work schedules and ensure efficient use of resources
  • Sell merchandise and promote products to customers
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
  • Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing waste
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure high standards of product quality and presentation
Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and meeting sales targets. You will work in a non-smoking environment with occasional exposure to odours and noise.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
