About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Packaging Operations Supervisor to join our team at Kingsmill Foods Company Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe production of high-quality food products.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of production staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management. You will also be responsible for maintaining high levels of quality and productivity, as well as ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Maintain high levels of quality and productivity by identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and retention.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proven leadership and supervision skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred.
  • Certifications such as Forklift Operator Certification, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, and First Aid Certificate an asset.
What We Offer

Kingsmill Foods Company Limited offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including dental and health care plans, paramedical services coverage, and a generous paid time off policy.
