We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to join our team at SES Packaging Systems Inc.

Job Description
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient production processes, and maintaining high-quality products.
  • This role involves managing a small team of employees, providing guidance, and supporting their growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers to achieve production goals and deadlines.
  • Establish and maintain efficient work schedules to ensure smooth operation.
  • Train or arrange for training to develop employee skills and knowledge.
  • Oversee the safety of operations, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Recommend personnel actions, including performance evaluations and promotions.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Set up machines and equipment to meet production demands.
  • Implement measures to improve productivity and product quality.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing setting.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week. The work environment is noisy, requiring the ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
