About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Seasonal Packaging Operations Associate to join our team at Unilever's Rexdale facility. This is a seasonal position that will run from June 2024 to September 30th, 2024, and requires full-time hours.

As a Seasonal Packaging Operations Associate, you will work under the direction of Production Supervisors in the Manufacturing Department. Your primary responsibilities will include operating machinery, maintaining product quality and quantity, and adhering to safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery according to established procedures while maintaining a high level of productivity and quality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet production specifications.
  • Assist with troubleshooting machine issues and implement corrective actions as needed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of WHMIS, LOTO, and GMP procedures.
  • 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in a fast-moving consumer goods company.
  • Competency in using machine data and control systems.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical equations.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and comfort using hand tools.
