Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced health and safety professional to provide technical support to our safety team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in occupational health and safety, with experience in program development, training delivery, and database management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain health and safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and coaching to employees on health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Manage health and safety databases and systems to track incidents, injuries, and near-miss events.
  • Collaborate with the safety team to develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a related position.
  • College diploma in Health, Safety and Environment (OHS or equivalent) or Business.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
