About the Role:
  1. Develop and implement comprehensive workplace health and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  2. Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with relevant safety standards.
  3. Provide training and guidance to employees and management on health and safety protocols to promote a culture of safety.
  4. Monitor and report on safety metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize safety outcomes.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior health and safety role or similar position.
  2. Strong knowledge of Manitoba health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
  3. Certification in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent (e.g., CRSP, NCSO) is an asset.
