Business Development Partner

Join Sun Life Financial as a Business Development Partner and play a key role in the growth and success of our advisors. As a Business Development Partner, you will be responsible for onboarding, developing, and coaching a team of advisors to achieve their financial and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead developing advisors through onboarding, training, and development programs.
- Work with advisors to meet financial and strategic objectives, including sales growth, productivity, and client engagement.
- Ensure assigned advisors are appropriately trained, licensed, and registered, and follow defined products and suitability to ensure compliance with regulatory and Sun Life obligations.
- Educate and support advisors on the characteristics of the local market and the regulatory environment.
- Collaborate with advisors to develop and implement business development strategies.
- Strong sales management and business development skills.
- Strong mentoring, coaching, performance management, and influencing skills.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and relationship building skills.
- Previous experience in an advisor role, with a proven track record of developing successful advisors, would be an asset.
- Previous people leadership experience would be an asset.
- Strong working knowledge of the regulatory environment.
