About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Director to lead our team of naturopathic doctors and drive the success of Ontario's professional association for licensed naturopathic doctors.

As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will oversee strategic initiatives, financial management, human resources, and government relations, enhancing our profile as a proactive healthcare advocate.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare systems, a proven track record in leadership, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and association management, as well as a commitment to advancing the role of naturopathic medicine within Ontario's healthcare landscape.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure the organization's goals and objectives are met.
  • Liaise with government agencies and stakeholders to promote the interests of the association and its members.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to medical practice and patient care.
  • Maintain a culture of continuous learning and quality improvement among staff and members.
  • Foster partnerships with other healthcare organizations and professionals to advance the field of naturopathic medicine.

Your Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Senior leadership experience in healthcare or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of policy governance boards and their role in supporting small non-profit associations.
  • Insight and vision in identifying and anticipating trends in health care and their impact on the profession.
  • Proven track record in building stakeholder partnerships and driving organizational growth.
  • Experience operationalizing strategic planning into tactical implementation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Salary Information

The salary for this role is estimated to be between $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
