We believe in personalizing the design experience for our clients and maintaining a hands-on approach to projects. Every project we undertake has the direct involvement of Directors and Principals. Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Process Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in clinical processes across major inpatient and outpatient departments.
  • Institutional Knowledge: Understand the differences in institutional, ambulatory, and business occupancy environments.
  • Process Flow Development: Work with end users to outline process flows and critical adjacencies of clinical rooms.
  • Medical Equipment Guidance: Understand and guide discussions on medical equipment needs.
  • Medical Planning Leadership: Lead the medical planning process within the design team to create department floor plan concepts reflective of operations.
  • Project Management: Manage the deliverables for the medical planning team within the greater project deliverable schedule.
  • Client Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for the client on planning issues.
  • Team Mentorship: Mentor staff for depth and support of the specialized knowledge execution process.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of healthcare planning experience required with proven experience in clinical planning leadership.
  • Technical Skills: Clear understanding of applicable codes & building construction systems, materials, and standards. Proficiency with Revit is required.
  • Soft Skills: Strong presentation, communication, organizational, team building, collaboration, and communication skills are a must. Ability to take ownership of tasks and project deliverables. Strong leadership, critical thinking, effective problem solving, and decision-making skills. Team player, adaptable, and has a positive attitude.
  • Software Proficiency: Knowledge of Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel and Visio, is preferred.
