Job Summary
The Healthcare Quality Assurance Specialist will be a key member of the Health Standards Organization's (HSO) team, responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of healthcare services. This role will involve reviewing and evaluating self-assessments submitted by healthcare organizations, as well as conducting on-site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate self-assessments submitted by healthcare organizations to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct on-site inspections to verify the accuracy of self-assessments and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare organizations to promote quality improvement and patient safety.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide training and support to healthcare organizations on quality improvement principles and best practices.
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent in a healthcare-related field.
- 3+ years of clinical healthcare experience with a focus in diagnostic imaging services.
- Current Registration with Jurisdictional Regulatory Body.
- Understanding of the healthcare system.
- Knowledge of quality improvement principles within the healthcare environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and planning skills.
- Ability to apply the principles of change management.
- Analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with MS Windows/Word/Outlook/Excel.
