Technical Communications Support Specialist/Trainer

As a leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of intelligent building and life safety solutions, we are seeking an experienced Applications Support Specialist/Trainer to join our dynamic team. Based out of our Maple Ridge office in BC, this role focuses on providing technical support, conducting training sessions, and ensuring the effective use of our communications and security solutions.
We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, plus benefits and opportunities for advancement. The ideal candidate will have expertise in networking, software and hardware troubleshooting, and customer service, alongside exceptional training skills. A strong background in Communications and Security Products is essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert-level support for networking, CCTV, intercom, access control, audio systems, and SIP/VoIP technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues efficiently to ensure seamless client operations.
- Develop and deliver training programs for end-users and technical staff on the use of communications and security products.
- Create and maintain training materials, manuals, and documentation to support effective learning.
- College diploma or university degree in a relevant field. A technical background is an asset
- Minimum of 3 years in applications support, training, or a similar role within the communications and security sector.
- Strong knowledge of networking principles and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Solid familiarity with CCTV, intercom, access control, audio systems, SIP/VoIP technologies, and cabling/wiring practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation and training delivery.
