About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Jolera Inc. in Toronto, Ontario.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a technical support role, with a strong background in troubleshooting, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, networks, and peripherals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving technical issues, and performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Process service tickets and assign them to appropriate service resources as necessary.
  2. Maintain service ticket ownership throughout the life of the support incident.
  3. Escalate high-profile issues to the Service Desk Manager for appropriate handling and routing.
  4. React to onsite outage scenarios as assigned by the Service Desk Manager/Field Services Manager.
  5. Install, configure, and diagnose client workstations and equipment.
  6. Conduct on-site problem determination and analysis.
  7. Provide advice and technical guidance to end users and technical resources as necessary.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Relevant degree or diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, MacOS, iOS, and common client-side productivity application suites.
  • Experience with endpoint management solutions such as JAMF, SCCM, MBAM.
  • Ability to make sound judgment calls and escalate to senior resources when needed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
