Blooming Acres is seeking a dynamic Director of Programs to oversee our live-in treatment programs. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Operations, this role requires a blend of strong leadership, emotional intelligence, relational practice, direct care experience, and hands-on program management expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of managers to deliver high-quality care.
  • Promote employee engagement and encourage participation in program culture.
  • Nurture and support employee development to grow within the organization.
  • Monitor and report on program performance metrics, including client, family, and caseworker satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures within the programs supervised.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to minimize impacts on quality of care.
  • Collaborate with department managers to advance a high-quality caring program.
  • Nurture a culture of continuous improvement and support employee growth and development.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for community partners, families, and case facilitators.
  • Act as a liaison for the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) to ensure programs meet and exceed requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (Social Work, Leadership, Psychology, Arts and Social Sciences, Human Resource Management), graduate-level education preferred.
  • Work experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in senior leadership and supervising teams of managers.
  • Leadership skills: Ability to supervise, provide feedback, mentor, problem solve, make community connections, inspire employee teams, encourage, support, and celebrate.
  • Time management skills: Ability to effectively manage time-sensitive tasks and responsibilities.
  • Proficiency with computers: Comfortable using Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, OneDrive, Adobe, Fillable Forms, Automated Processes, SharePoint ADP, and Outlook.
  • Detail-oriented: Meticulous in reviewing and documenting critical information.
  • Communication and writing skills: Capable of articulating complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Organized: Demonstrated a structured approach to manage tasks and responsibilities within a complex treatment environment.
  • Conflict resolution skills: Ability to handle difficult conversations with sensitivity and professionalism leading to positive outcomes.

This position has a base salary rate of $69,000-$79,000 annually, with an additional $3 wage enhancement per hour, paid by the government, as reflected in the wage posted.

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
