Care Director

At Jarlette Health Services, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Co-Director of Resident Care to join our team. This is a full-time evening position that requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess, implement, evaluate, report, and document actions to affect positive outcomes related to the residents' health.
- Ensure nursing staff perform assigned tasks and duties.
- Coordinate, implement, and manage Home-wide programs, including skin care, behavior management, infection control, back care, CQI/Risk Management, palliative care, quality of life, and health and safety.
- Ensure accurate completion of resident records reflecting the resident's health status and care provided, complying with legislative and Home requirements.
- Participate in the orientation process for residents, students, volunteers, and nursing personnel.
- Must be registered with a current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario - O. Reg. 246/22, s. 51.
- Successful completion of or enrollment in Long Term Care Senior Management or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience in Long Term Care (Gerontology) preferred.
- Must demonstrate an active interest in ongoing education.
- Must be computer literate.
