Administrative Coordinator, Global Banking and Markets

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team in Global Banking and Markets at Scotiabank. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our day-to-day activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the team, including scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and preparing documents.
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files.
- Coordinate and arrange meetings, conferences, and other events.
- Prepare and distribute meeting materials, agendas, and minutes.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset.
