Key Responsibilities:
  • Enter accounts payable into Oracle Financials
  • Ensure invoices and check requests are properly supported and approved
  • Review account coding and correct any miscoding
  • Ensure the accuracy of sales tax (GST and PST) and identify and calculate self-assessments where required
  • Match invoices to approval batches
  • Prepare account reconciliations, including vendor & bank statement reconciliation
  • Back up for accounts receivable entry
  • Back up shipping and payroll
  • Filing and photocopying as required
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary training in administration or accounting or 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in Oracle accounts payable is an asset
  • High degree of accuracy with numbers and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Must be flexible and adjust to changing workloads and tasks
  • Advanced Excel, Word and Outlook skills

  • The salary range for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location. The yearly salary range is between $51,500 and $60,000
