Job Summary

VGC Education Inc. is seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement new administrative procedures and review existing ones to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
  • Carry out administrative activities of the establishment, including administering policies and procedures related to the release of records.
  • Co-ordinate and plan for office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • Assist in the preparation of the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Perform data entry and train staff as needed.
  • Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures, resolve conflict situations, and commission systems and components.
  • Monitor and evaluate administrative processes and procedures.
  • Oversee payroll administration and plan and control budget and expenditures.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with SAP (FI/CO/HR/MM/OT SD) and Adobe Photoshop is an asset.
Working Conditions
