About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our Mental Health & Substance Use team in Williams Lake, B.C.

As a member of our team, you will provide assessment, treatment, case management, and community support to individuals with serious mental health problems, substance use issues, and/or developmental disabilities.

You will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary care team to ensure timely and responsive treatment and clinical supports across the continuum of available services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, treatment, and case management services to individuals with mental health and substance use issues
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide community support and education to individuals and their families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an approved school of nursing
  • Two years' recent related experience in a mental health and substance use environment
  • Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
  • Current valid B.C. driver's license
