About the Opportunity

The First Nations Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the All Nations Healing House in Williams Lake, BC. As a key member of our primary care team, you will play a vital role in providing culturally safe and effective healthcare services to First Nations people and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Practice with cultural humility and provide primary care in a culturally safe, team-based environment.
  • Provide whole person care, addressing the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of clients and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and community members to promote trust and understanding.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nurse Practitioner (Family) from an accredited institution.
  • Active practicing license in good standing with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Training in Cultural Safety & Humility or willingness to take this training.
  • Experience working with First Nations people and communities, providing culturally safe care.
