About the Role

This role involves designing and conducting branch-training programs that enhance employee performance in line with the company's core values. The successful candidate will be responsible for training needs assessments, curriculum design, learning materials creation, and branch training management. They will also develop various types of learning materials, including job aids, e-learning initiatives, microlearnings, newsletter articles, and videos.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with teams to identify target audience training requirements and needs;
  • Develop and deploy a variety of learning materials;
  • Create standardized business process user manuals (job aids);
  • Assist with layout, editing, and organizing content as required;
  • Evaluate training effectiveness by measuring participant feedback;
  • Design assessments for verifying learner knowledge and capability;
  • Deliver training courses and "ad hoc" training sessions as required;
  • Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure relevance;
  • Stay up-to-date on new trends and tools in employee development;
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the financial services or brokerage industry. They should be fully proficient in French (written and oral) and have extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and learning principles. The ability to apply adult learning principles and experience with multiple delivery methods, including e-learning initiatives, is essential. Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools, and techniques is also necessary.

Education and Certifications

A Bachelor's degree in a related field of study, along with post-secondary education in learning principles and/or certification in adult continuing education or instructions, is preferred.
