**The Opportunity:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Radiology Technologist II to join our Diagnostic Radiology department. As a Rad Tech II, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our X-ray department and providing exceptional patient care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assessing patient information and selecting appropriate examinations
  • Coordinating with attending Radiologists and Surgeons
  • Ensuring patients are properly prepared for exams
  • Performing clerical duties related to patient care
  • Maintaining diagnostic and accessory equipment

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiological Technology
  • Current registration with the Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • Paediatric imaging experience (an asset)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
