Key Responsibilities:

1. Treatment Planning: Work collaboratively with oncologists to develop personalized radiation treatment plans. Utilize advanced technology to ensure precise dose calculations and accurate plan verification.
2. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain comprehensive quality assurance protocols for radiation therapy equipment. Conduct regular inspections and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
3. Patient Safety: Safeguard patients from radiation exposure by meticulously reviewing and optimizing treatment plans. Monitor treatment efficacy and make adjustments as needed.
4. Research and Development: Contribute to cutting-edge research initiatives, staying current with breakthroughs in radiation oncology and medical physics.
5. Education and Training: Train and mentor medical staff, sharing expertise in radiation therapy techniques and best practices.

Qualifications:

· Education: Advanced degree in Medical Physics or related field.

· Licensure/Certification Requirements: Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Radiology.

· Professional Experience Requirements: Minimum 2-3 years of clinical experience with preference for those with experience in advanced radiation therapy techniques.

· Skills: Analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficient in treatment planning software and dosimetry equipment.
