**Overview**

ParaMed Home Health Care is a leading provider of home health care services, dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care for over 40 years. We are seeking an experienced Clinical Office Supervisor to join our team.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year

**Job Description:**

The Clinical Office Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and supporting a team of nurses and unregulated community support staff. This role involves assessing, implementing, and evaluating clinical care interventions to ensure the delivery of safe, quality, and ethical care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and supporting staff to ensure compliance with legislated standards and company policies
  • Responding to concerns from staff, patients, and families
  • Providing ongoing leadership through regular meetings and one-on-ones
  • Initiating patient safety incident investigations and documenting findings
  • Collaborating with nursing teams to support clinical documentation and submission requirements
  • Engaging patients in problem-solving and providing health teaching
  • Mentoring staff to resolve problems and improve practice
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in practice settings that affect scope of practice

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a practicing Registered Practical Nurse
  • Comprehensive patient health assessment skills
  • Understanding of community nursing principles
  • Proven experience leading and managing a team
  • Knowledge of clinical documentation standards and practice guidelines
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and teaching skills
  • Commitment to professional development in clinical practice
  • Effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills
