PCL Construction is seeking a Human Resources Student to join our Atlantic Canada District team. As a student in a human resources management or related field, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive work environment that promotes personal and professional growth.
Responsibilities- Assist with professional development initiatives, including coordinating internal training and course setup.
- Maintain the applicant tracking system, screen resumes, schedule interviews, greet candidates, and perform reference checks.
- Prepare for new employee and new student orientations.
- Provide administrative support for employee career management.
- Organize Health & Wellness events and initiatives.
- Implement various HR initiatives and projects.
- Generate monthly reports.
- Manage and organize the College of Construction courseware database and library.
- Working towards a degree or diploma in human resources management or a related field.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and respond to changing demands.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and learning management systems.
