Role Overview

As a Retail Store Supervisor at Esso, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our retail store. This includes managing sales staff, coordinating tasks, and maintaining a well-organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Hire and train, or arrange for training of staff members to enhance their skills.
  • Order merchandise to maintain an attractive and stocked store.
  • Authorize returns of merchandise to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Establish schedules to ensure optimal store performance.
  • Sell merchandise to customers.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues promptly.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to prevent stockouts.
  • Supervise and coordinate worker activities to ensure a smooth store operation.
Work Environment

This role requires a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You must be able to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Physical demands include sitting, standing, and walking.

Work Terms: Permanent. Work Language: English. Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
