What is the opportunity?

As a seasoned Agile Delivery Director, you will lead the delivery of Home Equity Financing programs, collaborating with stakeholders across technology, business, risk, and operations. You will partner with Product, Architecture, and Technical Leads to implement engineering best practices and promote Agile Values and Principles, driving high performance and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include managing program roadmaps, deliverables, financial management, vendor relationships, and providing regular updates on delivery progress and efficiency metrics to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Outcome-focused leadership: Manage end-to-end technology delivery processes, defining roadmaps, release plans, budgets, and milestones, and holding team members and stakeholders accountable for delivering to plan.
  • Technology Savvy: Dive deep into technical systems, understand them well, and stay connected to details to manage software releases from sprint to QE test, UAT, and deployment across multiple workstreams.
  • Delivery Methodology: Implement Agile practices, coach the team, and promote business agility, DevOps, and Agile best practices and mindset.
  • Matrix Management: Team structure, skillset requirements, and support execution of hiring and onboarding contractors and full-time employees, benchmarking skillset gaps with regular updates and reporting.
  • Financials: Accountable for forecasting, team allocation, and managing program financials to ensure forecast and spend align with funding.
  • Executive Reporting: Prepare and provide influential C-level reports on achievements, milestones, progress on deliverables, risk, and issues, financials, and staffing.
  • Streamline Delivery: Remove impediments to delivery success through proactive management of dependencies, team problem-solving, and development of new solutions or approaches to ongoing challenges.

Requirements

  • Strong bias for action and ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • 10+ years of experience as a Delivery lead with both Waterfall and Agile principles, practices, and theory applied.
  • 10-15 years of experience working with engineering teams to develop software and services.
  • Previous experience managing +$5 million budget.
  • Undergraduate Degree, Certified Scrum Master / Agile Practitioner / PMP.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Jira, Confluence, Project Financial Tools.
  • Strong collaborator, servant leader with delivery mindset and focus on bringing value to the end user.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams of various sizes, including leading remote or offshore resources.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with PlanView, LeanKit, MIS, and other project forecasting tools.
  • Hands-on with Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence).
  • Graduate degree / MBA.
  • Scaling Agile Certification (SPC, Scrum@Scale or SAFe Agilist).
  • Familiar with SRE, ITSM, DevOps.
