Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Norlok Technology Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing systems, optimization, and design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct studies to determine optimal inventory levels and resource utilization
  • Design and implement manufacturing systems to maximize efficiency and productivity
  • Evaluate and assess industrial facilities to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement programs to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste
  • Plan and design plant layouts and facilities to meet business needs
  • Supervise and lead a team of technicians, engineers, and other staff members
  • Develop and implement flexible and integrated manufacturing systems and procedures
  • Analyze costs of production and identify areas for cost reduction
  • Design and conduct time studies and work simplification programs to improve efficiency
  • Conduct studies on the reliability and performance of plant facilities
  • Assess and identify opportunities to enhance industrial health and safety and reduce hazards
  • Develop and implement maintenance standards, schedules, and programs
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role
  • Strong background in manufacturing systems, optimization, and design
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
