About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Systems Engineer to join our team at Norlok Technology Inc. as a key member of our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Conduct thorough studies to determine optimal inventory levels and usage of machinery and resources, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimal waste.
  • Manufacturing System Design: Design and implement manufacturing systems that maximize the utilization of computer networks, robots, and materials, driving productivity and quality improvements.
  • Facility Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of industrial facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure that all opportunities are explored.
  • Inventory Optimization: Develop and implement programs for optimal inventory levels, reducing costs and improving supply chain efficiency.
  • Plant Layout and Facilities Planning: Plan and design plant layouts and facilities that support efficient operations and meet business needs.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and lead teams of technicians, technologists, analysts, administrative staff, and other engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Manufacturing System Development: Develop flexible or integrated manufacturing systems and procedures that meet business requirements and drive continuous improvement.
  • Cost Analysis: Analyze production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Time Studies and Work Simplification: Design and conduct time studies and work simplification programs to optimize workflows and reduce waste.
  • Reliability and Performance Studies: Conduct reliability and performance studies of plant facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure optimal performance.
  • Industrial Health and Safety: Assess industrial facilities to identify hazards and develop programs to improve industrial health, safety, and environmental performance.
  • Maintenance Standards and Schedules: Develop and implement maintenance standards, schedules, and programs to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.Green Role
