Caretaker Position

About the Role
We are seeking a part-time Caretaker to join our team at Tribe Management in Guelph, Ontario. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of a 100-unit residential townhouse complex.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer all aspects of property management, including move-in/move-out processes and vendor coordination.
- Work collaboratively with onsite staff to maintain a high standard of professionalism and property maintenance.
- Perform minor repairs, cleaning, and landscaping tasks as required.
- Issue purchase orders and supervise contractors for all work and supplies.
- Prepare incident reports and respond to emergencies on a 24-hour basis.
- Schedule and supervise move-in and out of rental units, and maintain accurate tenant files.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of caretaking and/or building maintenance experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Computer proficiency and ability to learn new software.
- Able to take direction and work well with minimal supervision.
- Working knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act an asset.
Please note: This is a part-time position requiring on-site work in Guelph and reporting to the Cambridge Tribe office. A valid Class 5 driver's license and own vehicle are preferred.
