Job Overview

The Franchise Onboarding Liaison plays a vital role in assisting new franchisees with their New Restaurant Opening Checklist, as well as coordinating training and the opening training of their first restaurant.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with new franchisees and their teams to assist with onboarding and guide them through the restaurant training and opening process.
  • Coordinate and schedule new franchisees' training through a CTR (Certified Training Restaurant).
  • Follow up with both the training franchisee and the CRT (Certified Restaurant Trainer).
  • Travel throughout Canada to facilitate pre-opening 'Boots on the ground' training for team members and staff prior to the opening.
Essential Duties
  • Consult with, advise, and provide support to franchisees as the brand liaison, connecting them with vendors and other brand departments to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Develop professional relationships with franchisees, their team members, and management teams to enable productive and efficient pre-opening training.
  • Build effective relationships with FBP's (Franchise Business Partners) to provide a great support system for onboarding and training new franchisees.
Preferred Skills
  • 5+ years of operations experience in QSR, retail, food & beverage, or similar industries.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, able to develop and maintain strong client and business partner relationships.
  • Skilled in root-cause problem-solving methodologies.
  • Ability to present operational information orally and written (PowerPoint).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
