The Island Health organization is currently seeking a Primary Care Clinician to join their team in the Campbell River and District area.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide culturally safe primary care to patients at the Primary Care Network/Clinics in the Campbell River and District area.
In this role, you will have the chance to work in a variety of clinical settings, including private family physician clinics that span rural and urban areas, providing care to people of all ages, including maternity care.
Responsibilities- Act as the most responsible primary care provider, establishing a minimum patient panel (requirements outlined in contract).
- Provide after-hours care for patients, potentially participating in an after-hours call group, sharing coverage with other providers at the clinic.
Please note that roles are subject to funding approval from the Ministry of Health.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary range of $123,000 - $148,500 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
