Primary Care Physician Specialist

As a Primary Care Physician Specialist with Vancouver Coastal Health, you will have the opportunity to work in a part-time position at an Urgent and Primary Care Clinic (UPCC) in Vancouver.
The Northeast UPCC provides urgent care for patients with non-life-threatening injuries, illnesses, and conditions that should be addressed within 12 to 24 hours but do not require the service and expertise of a hospital emergency department (CTAS 3,4,5).
You will provide team-based care, with off-site rapid access to X-ray, ultrasound, and labs. Patients will be linked to appropriate care pathways that include specialist, social service, and primary care.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a Family Physician (FP) or Emergency Physician (EP) to combine current or recent experience in primary care with urgent or emergent care.
You will have a clear understanding of the role and importance of foundational primary care and the ability to integrate it with urgent care.
Requirements- Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) Eligible – Mandatory
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) – Mandatory
- Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) – Eligible
- Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License - Provisional
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
