**About the Position**

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist I to join our team in the Adult Inpatient Program at the Centennial Centre for Mental Health and Brain Injury. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a skilled professional with a passion for helping individuals achieve their full potential.

Job Summary:

The Occupational Therapist I will work under the supervision of a Unit Manager and provide evidence-informed services to support clients in achieving their occupational goals. As part of Addiction and Mental Health Services, the Adult Inpatient Program offers specialized inpatient assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and support to those within the facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing referrals from three acute units and one complex care unit, and will work collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare providers to develop and implement personalized care plans.

About the Team:

The Adult Inpatient Program is a multidisciplinary team that provides comprehensive care to clients with mental health and addiction issues. Our team includes occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, social workers, and nurses who work together to provide individualized care to each client. We prioritize teamwork, communication, and collaboration to ensure that our clients receive the best possible care.

About the Role:

This is a permanent full-time position working 35 hours per week. Salary is estimated to be between $84,000 - $104,500 annually, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program and registration with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT). The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently with a variety of clients in an active setting.
