We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Alberta Health Services in the role of Mental Health Therapist Provincial Specialist. This is a challenging and rewarding position that offers opportunities for professional growth and development.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing harm reduction-focused mental health and addiction services to clients across the province. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to assess, treat, and provide crisis intervention services to individuals experiencing significant mental health difficulties.

As a Mental Health Therapist Provincial Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse populations, including individuals with addictions and mental health issues. You will also have the chance to develop your skills in group facilitation, community networking, and educational programming.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing, and active registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college. Additionally, you will require strong working knowledge of the addiction and mental health system across the province, as well as excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
